So…there’s this car salesman in Colorado who thinks that President Obama wasn’t born here. And that he’s a Muslim Jihadist. And that he’s somehow responsible for the Fort Hood massacre. I just watched Ed Schultz interview this guy on his show and I’m still reeling from the shock. This lunatic actually believes this stuff. Honestly, you have to see this to believe it.

Someone I know posted this video on Facebook, and I just have to pass it on. Basically, it’s footage from the recent 9/12 Teabagger’s protest in Washington, D.C. and it’s incredibly scary, sad, and funny. I’ve longed believed that the rage against the president and the hostility in the current health care reform debate is based on greed, delusions, and ignorance, and now I know that it’s true. It’s amazing what some people will believe if Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, or Sean Hannity scream it loudly enough.
Most of you have probably seen this commercial before, but I came across it again, and it’s impact is still there. I’m ashamed that I fall for the tricks and end up feeling bad about myself.
